466 Taiwan Lugu Gui Fei Oolong

Tea in Motion

Gui Fei Oolong is similar to Oriental Beauty but the taste is really different!

Both oolongs are bug bitten by the Jacobiasca Formosana, a small grasshopper species that sucks up the leaf juices and leaves wounds on the leaf. The plant reacts to this with a chemical reaction that causes the tea leaf to take on a honey-sweet flavor

This oolong is 35-40% oxidized, lightly toasted and rolled.
