Tea in Motion
DESCRIPTION

Famous mountains produce famous tea...

Wavy leaves with a pointed tip, a bud with one or two leaves covered with fuzz...a soft aroma and delicious light floral fragrance. This tea is considered one of the 10 best Chinese teas. It is carefully picked and processed from the tea bushes high in the mountains where no pesticides are required.

The tea gardens are scattered among the remote mountains and valleys, where the air is clean, the climate humid and the four seasons clearly defined. The only crops grown here are tea and Chrysanthemums

Mao Feng means: fur-covered tea, this tea is also called Yellow Mountain Fur Peak.

Characteristic of this cultivar are its dense, strong buds and downy hair which gives the tea plant good protection in cold months

The legend about the origin of Huangshan Maofeng tells of a young tea picker who fell in love with a boy from her village. A tyrant kidnapped her to make her his mistress, but the girl fortunately managed to escape. When she returned to her village, she discovered that the tyrant had killed her lover. The girl found his body back in the mountains of Huangshan. She cried so much that her tears turned into rain and her deceased lover turned into a tea plant
